Dr. D'Aleo, and the ADA, recommend checkups twice per year. Given the current economic recession, she is allowing her patients to make the decision on whether or not to take check-up x-rays every six months. Yearly x-rays may suffice when trying to keep check-up costs to a minimum.

Our New Location

Sorry for the blog absence, but we were in the process of having a new office constructed and the project consumed most of our waking hours.

We started business operation in our new Hewlett location on Inauguration Day 2009. It seemed like an appropriate date. Nanda, Ria, Jess, and I have all been enjoying working in the new place. It has a very good "feel' to it. More thrilling perhaps, is seeing some of the reactions of our patients, as they come through the door and see what we have built for them.

It may sound odd, when I say that the office was built for our patients, but I will try to illustrate how that is the case. We have added an additional operatory. More operatories translates to shorter waiting times when our patients come in for procedures. We have invested in some of the most current technology available. Improved technology gives Dr. D'Aleo better tools and resources to make diagnoses and perform procedures. Even the color scheme we chose was designed with soothing earth tones, to help instill a feel of nature and tranquility in an environment where anxiety may exist for some of you. To keep you occupied while waiting, we offer digital quality movies in the waiting area, and will also accommodate patients who are having lengthy procedures with the same in the dental chair.

I look forward to seeing you at your next visit.
